Digital Marketing Executive – Bloomsbury & Head of Zeus
The opportunity
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is looking for a dynamic, creative and forward-thinking Digital Marketing Executive to work across an exciting and varied list of fiction and non-fiction, with such authors as George Saunders, Madeline Miller, Rutger Bregman, Elizabeth Gilbert and many more. The role will also include a key focus on Head of Zeus, whose authors include Elodie Harper, Dan Jones, Min Jin Lee and Richard Dawkins.
Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and working alongside both the digital marketing and marketing teams, you will be responsible for assisting key digital marketing campaigns, supporting the running of Bloomsbury’s creator programme (Bloomsbury Creator Circle) and driving community engagement across Bloomsbury and Head of Zeus social accounts.
The ideal candidate will be immersed in the world of social media and highly proficient in creating short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels. The candidate will be confident in front of the camera and behind. They will also have an analytical sensibility: using insight metrics to constantly hone the social media strategy. A love of books across a variety of genres is a prerequisite.

Salary: £30,000 per annum
The role is based at Bloomsbury’s London office (50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP) and Head of Zeus’s office (5-8 Hardwick St, London EC1R 4RG) on a hybrid-working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred).
Allocated office days for this role are: Monday and Tuesday
This position is eligible for Bloomsbury’s Rental Deposit Loan Scheme. To assist candidates who want to start and to establish a career in publishing, Bloomsbury offers an interest-free rental deposit to support securing somewhere to live. The rental deposit loan can be up to £3,000 and will be paid back over 2 years.
