Part of the People & Engagement team, our small but mighty Recruitment team strives to provide a thoughtful, people‑centred and inclusive approach to hiring. We are now looking for a warm, organised and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to help us continue the evolution of a high‑quality recruitment service across the business.

It’s well-suited to someone with experience in recruitment and/or talent sourcing, who enjoys supporting others, managing detail and who wants to have ownership within a value‑driven, creative organisation.

In this role, you’ll coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval and advertising through to offer, supporting hiring managers to ensure recruitment runs smoothly and compliantly, while delivering a positive experience for both candidates and colleagues.

You’ll also support freelancer (IR35) administration and, once established in the role, will have plenty of opportunities to contribute to wider recruitment improvement initiatives and People projects.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience 

  • Professional experience working in recruitment/talent acquisition
  • Organisational and administration skills
  • IT confident including ATS and intermediate Excel
  • Communications skills: written, spoken and stakeholder engagement
  • Team player: approachable; helpful; proactive
  • Resilient

Desirable

  • Talent sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Understanding of GDPR

 

Additional information

The role is a full-time and permanent.

Salary:  £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience

The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid-working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). 

Allocated office days for this role are currently: Thursdays plus one other day.

This position is eligible for Bloomsbury’s Rental Deposit Loan Scheme.
